This is an exciting two-year Project Coordinator position within the HIV Epidemiology and Prevention Program at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney.

The role is to coordinate a new Federal Department of Health-funded project entitled “Identifying Gaps in Achieving the Virtual Elimination of HIV Project (The Gaps Project)”, which aims to assess (1) which groups are not being reached in the areas of HIV testing, treatment and PrEP, and (2) where the gaps are in the available data and how they could be filled.

The primary task will be the collation of various national and state-specific data sources around HIV testing, HIV treatment uptake, PrEP uptake, and behavioural risk reduction, and to assist in the production of a report, so as to characterise access to each of the HIV prevention “pillars” among high-risk population groups and subgroups across Australia.
